MHS Class of 1987 Trivia Contest THE QUESTIONS

The twelve trivia questions that will be presented on this site will focus primarily on the Class of 1987, although some questions will delve into the history of Model Lab School as well.

In order to keep things fair, all questions will have answered that are supportable by some sort of physical evidence -- photograph, article, audio/video clip, or some artifact that can verify the result. In other words, there will be no questions based on something that can be drawn solely from memory. For example: "Which two students are attributed with the quote 'In the great scheme of things, it just doesn't matter'?" And the answer is, of course, "Earl-Ray Neal and Brian Gordon." However, while this is something that most of us remember, we do not have any actual evidence that they had ever said it (albeit on videotape or printed in The Observer or whatever). Yes, this is kinda nitpicky, but by using only questions that have evidence to back them up, it keeps us from disputing the answers and having to deal with the issues that may arise from such disputes.

The answer to each question will be supplemented with whatever evidence that we have in our files, be it a photograph, article, audio clip, video clip, or some object that verifies the answer. You will also note that this is our way of adding new content to this website on a weekly basis.

Contest entries must be submitted through the form that we will have on this page.

A new question will appear every Wednesday. The time that the next question will be posted will be announced on Friday evening, when the answer to the previous question is revealed.
