WELCOME TO SANDBOX, the Survivors of Allan's Narcolepsy During Band-Oriented eXcusions! This is a special group of people who have had the honor (or, perhaps, the horror) of riding in the same vehicle with Mr. Stephens to and/or from a band-related event, and had Mr. Stephens go into one of his frequent bouts of narcolepsy, resulting in some, uhm, let's say, excitement on the open road.

Honorary inductees of this group include the members of the band who went on the April, 1985 trip to Chicago, Illinois and rode back in Mr. Stephens' van. This portion of the trip included an unforgetable attack of sleepiness during rush hour traffic while passing through Cincinnati, Ohio. Those survivors include:
