Items from the Flags of Excellence Ceremony, 1989

The Flags of Excellence is an educational award given by the Kentucky Educational Foundation, Inc. The Model High School Band was invited to perform at the ceremonies held on November 9, 1989 at the Farnham Dudgeon Civic Center in Frankfort, KY, as they were a high school that had achieved a "0%" dropout rate for the 1988-1989 school year. Pictured above is the outer cover of the program from the ceremony.

Prior to the ceremony, the MHS Band performed a portion of "The Magic of Andrew Lloyd Webber."
