Welcome to the official website for The Model High School Band Alumni Network!

The Model High School Band Alumni Network is a place where alumni members of the Model High School Band from Richmond, KY can gather and share memories of their band experiences as well as keep in touch with other members of the band.

The NETWORK section, coming in the summer of 2006, will be where band members will have the opportunity to list their contact information in an online directory, in a similar vein to other online high school directory sites (except that ours will not have any annoying ads).

Other sections of the site are devoted to memories from the days of Model High School Band. The GALLERY features an assortment of photos from our collection as well as those submitted by others. The AUDIO section features downloadable mp3s of band performances throughout the years. And our VIDEO section includes a number of rare video performances and short films featuring the band. The MISC. ARCHIVE contains all of the stuff we couldn't put anywhere else, and is crammed with assorted oddities, articles, mini-features and links to related websites.

Of course, the one constant variable in all of the band members' experiences is the band director, Mr. Allan D. Stephens, who recently wrapped up a successful 24 year tenure as director of the Model Lab School Bands. THE ADS ERA is our overview of his career, featuring a year-by-year breakdown of the events that transpired with accompanying photos (some never published before). And then there is our companion website, the FRIENDS OF ALLAN D. STEPHENS (FADS) site, featuring a tribute to Mr. Stephens by the students and other people from his career and life.

The massive amount of material on this site cannot possibly be assembled by just one person (although sometimes it seems that way), so we are always looking for SUBMISSIONS of material from our fellow band members. The Allan D. Stephens Retirement Celebration Souvenir Program Book

To commemorate the celebration of the retirement of Allan D.
